Hi guys,
Doesn't seem to be a lot of chat and stuff happening here. What is going on. I for one have had a few things happening on weekends, but it's about time we got a ride or something organized.

Or some bullshit banter, or something.

Hey Ed. Need some details on your radiator guard.

May the force be with you/ Very Happy

Have to agree, we need some ride ideas. I'll be more than happy to do more SVR rides. Over at NSWR, there seems to be too much youth simply wanting to get from a to b in the shortest time possible. Gets boring after a while.

I'll come back to you on the guard, once I get some prices. Installation was tricky. Unlike the OEM one, it does not come with brackets to fit the screw holes on the frame. They advise to cable tie it off. I wasn't happy with that, so, as silly as it sounds, I cut out the mesh from the OEM one, applied a bead of silicone between the two of them and clamped them overnight to make sure they were secure. Then I screwed the old frame (complete with new Anodised Red one on top) to the existing screw holes). The pictures at the following link will give you a better idea. A bit extreme perhaps, but it was a means to an end.

BTW, I cut the mesh from the old one to ensure there was no restriction in air flow. N.B. I did use a cable tie top and bottom just to be sure the 2 frames were secure.

Yes more rides are needed though there generally seem to be a lack of interest from most on the site.
Will be on the pink ribbon ride on Sunday so hope to see some there.

It's a busy time of year. I have something on every weekend between now and Christmas. Family birthdays (x 4) plus a mates 50th, Carols at the Domain in Sydney then working Christmas day!! The only time I get to ride the bike is when I take it to work. Although, I am riding to Sydney on 21/11 to work the weekend at Oran park as a volunteer marshall for the bike races.
