Australia day ride

Is anyone interested in a ride on Australia day maybe up the mountains I was thinking of leaving hooters parramatta about 8:00 and just cruising up having lunch somewhere then heading home. I'm open to suggestions

Yes mate it is and supposed to be fine

Boys it is forecast to be 39 + degrees on Wednesday so go early

Only a maybe for us. We are actually going up the bells line tomorrow.
Thought about posting it here but figured no-one would be interested in an 80kph run.

Well I do hope to attend some rides soon mate just the calander has been really full lately!
With the 5 rug rats SWMBO has me doin all those family type things. Then I have a FarRide
to Nambucca in Feb, Akron AGM in Jindabyne in March and Kate goes away in March too! Oh
and that reminds me the Useless brigade have their agm the last weekend in March as well!
So as for SVR I am not sure at this stage when I will get a leave pass but you never know
Ozzy Day might just happen!

Not sure if the plans for a ride are firmed yet or who is going, but on Australia Day I'm taking a NSWR group up Bells Line of Road from McGraths Hill to Lithgow. At Lithgow we will visit the Hassans Walls Lookout (sensational view). Then, coffee at Maccas Lithgow. Travel via the GWH to South Bowenfells for fuel, will probably stop at the dam, then head to Tarana for a BBQ fundraiser for the QLD appeal. Normal pub menu is available. There will be a band there from 1:00.

I doubt we will have a big group, but you are welcome to join us if you wish.

Meet Maccas McGraths Hill 8:00, depart 8:30.

I am a possible for Aust day at this stage

Well I am afraid of melting in the predicted heat so we will put up our hand for an evening ride IF you are all happy to handle an 80kph speed limit. I will understand though if that's an issue.

So, morning or evening ride.

If morning, then I will come and work at night.....

If evening, I will cancel my work and just bloody ride and catch up.

Harry kath and I are going with ed till lithgow then we might cruise back on our own.

Then if I'm lucky I might get a late arvo ride to wisemans if anyone else is interested

Given the low interest at NSWR and the fact I now have to be back by 3:30, I have cancelled the Tarana ride. I guess it was always going to be hard on Australia Day. Hope I didn't muck anyone about. Ride safe if you get out.
