Sat 1st October 2011 FarRide # 17 to Eungella

Whilst # 16 is still fresh in my mind and the adrenaline is still flowing from having ridden the Great Ocean Road with good friends, I would like to let you know about #17.

Date: Saturday 1st October 2011
Destination: Eungella Qld
Distance from Sydney: There are a few variables re routes which are yet to be decided, but less than 2,000, but not much less.

Never been to Longreach QLD, so a visit to Longreach looks tempting, with a start of FarRide # 17 from there.

Or we could add an overnight trip to Nindigully Hotel and then 1,067 km journey to Eungella.

Considerations: The Monday is a public holiday, so double demerits. It is school holidays, which is why I will be able to attempt it. Nothing confirmed yet, but I'm keen.

That is a big ride Ed. Timing wise it might work for me. How many days are you thinking of doing it over?

Depends on route and excursions etc but maybe 5.
