| Hi,
Currently have a 1995 Vulcan 1500 which needs some work done to it. Have joined up here because haven't had much lucking finding someone in Canberra for what needs to be done (potentially looking at full engine recondition).
At the moment they only option we've found was shipping it up the Sunshine Coast to get looked at! Would rather something a bit more local (around Sydney etc).
Cheers

| Welcome Shades there are not too many 1500 owners on this site that I know of however I am one and Roddy is another. I have a 96 Classic and get work done at Kawasaki Flywheels Alexandria which is close to the city who seem Ok and have a website.Roddy uses someone else and has had some pretty major stuff done. Anyway maybe contact Flywheels and they might be able to help.

| Hey guys.
Thanks, I contacted those guys and the consensus is I need to find a 2nd hand engine which is proving to be rather difficult.
Cheers

| I just called Collide a Scope and they've said they can fix her up. Either replacing the engine or the part that's busted depending on what's needed. So hopefully will have the bike up and running soon after being stuffed around for about 6 months.
Thanks for the help! | |

| From what we can gather it's the oil pump. The mechanic down here works by himself, so taking the engine off and apart, but based on noises etc it's a suspected oil pump. Either way, something is not working in there considering it's she's '95 and done over 120000/km getting a replacement engine is definitely a good option. | |
