PostSubject: Changing Handle Bars..Need Help   Sun Jul 01, 2012 1:12 pm

Hi there everyone, My new bike is already in trouble with the fuzz.
I Have been told by my local Highway patrol officer that my ape hangers are too high. I have to agree with him, I don't like them at all.
So, I was given the original bars and have just bought the cables from Kawasaki.
Is there anyone who knows how to do all the cables? I got quoted an amazing price from the mechanics to do it. I just don't have the extra cash after buying the bike last week.
Can anyone spare a few hours and show me how to do them, I can fit the bars and controls, I just don't know how the do the cables. I can follow the old ones, but i'm not keen, just in case i F it up.
Cheers in Advance.

Thanks Roddy, you know what, I'm in Hornsby everyday for work..maybe i can come too you.....next Saturday I am working..... It can't be that hard really..I need to make sure that the bars the bloke gave me are the original bars firstly..they look very low and close to the tank......the only cables I haven't got yet, is the brake cable... and the switch cables, I was just going to tuck them under the tank for now....
I will take the bars to Image up here and ask them....Then I will get back too you Roddy.....few beers and playing with bikes...ahhhh..its the life
Cheers
