Hi Ed,

Thanks for having me this morning.

It has been a long time since I went for a ride with a big group like that. It was awesome...!!!

It was great to meet more people too.

See you soon,

Kruser

Glad you were able to make it, albeit for a short ride. Further on the weather turned to fog/mist but cleared up after Mt Victoria.

Pics can be seen at http://picasaweb.google.com/Fasteddie57/NSWRidersRideToJenolanCaves22ndFebruary2009#

One bike had a problem with the bearings in his front wheel and needed a trailer home. Otherwise it was a good day.

We have a ride on the 15th March to Moss Vale if you are interested. If good weather, we could expect 40/60 bikes. We had 33 today.

Your site changes are good btw.

Wow....!!!

It sounds like you guys had a great time.

You took some great photos there.

Unfortunately I am working that day, otherwise I would love to come.

We'll organise our SVR ride again soon, maybe when Peter gets his bike back.

Next time we'll have David too, he is still on a holiday. He has a VN1500, beautiful bike.

PostSubject: Fuel Consumption   Tue Feb 24, 2009 10:47 am

On Sundays ride I was testing the bikes fuel range and after filling up at McGraths Hill in the morning, my reserve light came on at 373 kms around Blackheath on the return trip. Confidently continued on to the Caltex at Eastern Creek at which time the odo was on 402 kms. It took 16.5 litres which gives me 4.11 litres per 100kms for the trip. Still had about 3 litres left in the tank so could have made it home. If anyone wants my basic spreadsheet for fuel consumption calculations, PM an email address and I'll send it on.

My pictures from the ride can be seen @:
