Hi guys, I'm thinking of getting a second bike and I would like some constructive criticism on your opinions of a good "all round" machine

As some of you know I already have a VN1600 Classic ( which I really enjoy ) but I am looking for something to fill the gap between a tourer ( which the VN1600 is in my opinion ) and a weekend come commuting machine.

The VN900 Classic has some appeal to me and the styling's good!
The second bike I have in mind must be a cruiser, of course!
I have also heard some good comments about the Suzuki Boulevard 800? , but looking at some of the reviews on the Boulevard 800 it could do with another gear after about 105 kilometres per hour!
My preferred engine capacity would be between 800cc and 1300cc max.

Your collective thoughts are appreciated.

DALE 9251, my friend.... I would wait and try that beautiful Honday Fury.

Man..... it is really the most beautiful machine I have ever seen.

Most coppers I know are made by independent builder, but this one made by Honda...... it can't get any better.

I thought you already have the 2nd bike (Yamaha)..?

Any idea for a ride destination?

My mate has a Suzuki C109 as his main ride, but keeps a very nice VN900 in the shed for his around town and solo riding efforts. he could not bring himself to part with it after he bought the 109. Great mid size bike. Another popular smaller bike is the Honda VT750. Two mates had these before moving up to the VTX1800. And don't forget the Yammie XVS1100 or 1300. Have fun test riding ! Some great bikes in that size range to choose from Smile

My prior bike was the 09 VT 750. Great bike, but my current VN900 is far better, especially on those longer rides. Bigger 20 ltr tank is great to have also.

I ride the VN 900 is a great bike but maybe lacks a little in power and could do with another gear also I think.
Having said that I love riding it, handles well and not too heavy for around town and even filtering in some instances.
The 800 maybe a little smaller again and I don't think has as good a brake set up as the VN 900.
