Hi AJ,

Finally I worked our how to use the calendar.

Bassically everytime we have an event such as Ride, we can post it by just clicking the box next to the date and it will automatically comes up under Rides.

Are you coming on the 12th? It would be great if you could, we haven't seen you for a while.

Hi Allan,

Can you explain to me what you're trying to do?

I can add an event by clicking the box next to the dates.

I have looked around on the configuration and I don't find any problem. So, can you tell me what the problem is.

Cheers.

Hi Allan,

I just found out about the problem.

I tried to register with a different name, loged in and I couldn't use the calendar my self.

So, it must be something to do with the configuration of it, but I was trying to find it and still couldn't find how to make it useable for everyone.

I'll keep trying to fix it.

Harry, as Admin, you can pretty much do anything.

You need to change the authorities on the forum to allow us mortals to post an event on the calendar. I had the same problem at NSWR till I pointed it out.

When we post an event, it should give us the option to include it on the calendar. ATM it does not.

This topic at forumotion may assist you:

If you ever have any questions about managing this site, visit this link and search by using key words (eg Calendar entries) and you'll find some great solutions.

Thanks Ed.

I finally found it.

The information in the forum is not details but I found it after looking around.

Now, its seems to work fine. Beside the dates you can see the boxes where you can add an event.

Cheers.

Yep, works as it should now. Good effort.

Ppl, when posting an event, before you hit send, scroll down and you will see a choice to enter it on the calendar. Choose your date and then click 'send'. You will then have your post included on the calendar.

Where you have previously started a thread/topic you may also edit that post and add it to the calendar, if needed.

Thanks Ed,

For posting an event, you could can even just click on the box next to the date, then start writing and when you click send, it will automatically comes on that date in the calendar.

So, start posting parties then....!
I love parties.
