| If you guys are not riding eleswhere, there is a Honda Riders Club ride this Sunday. It will be a pretty sedate pace. Details are:
Date: Sunday 21st June 2009.
Meet at McDonald’s, Windsor Road, McGraths Hill.
Meeting Time: 8.30am Departure Time: 9.00am
Route: Windsor Road to Northern Road. First stop at Wallacia, then The Oaks and on to Nattai Lookout, which overlooks Lake Burragorang. Then to Picton and lunch at the Appin Hotel. After lunch we'll do a short run to Bald Hill Lookout.
Note: All motorcycles must be registered and roadworthy. Please have a full tank of fuel when you arrive at the meeting point. All motorcycles welcome. We also encourage ‘L’ and ‘P’ plater riders.
RIDE UPDATE 17th JUNE
A HRCA ride update on your Appin ride day: Sunday's weather looks to be improving - but some rain is likely to occur on our ride, especially near the coast. Wet weather gear is highly recommended ...
Our route has changed a little due to a construction zone at Nattai Lookout - the entire parking lot is closed-off as is the lookout viewing area. Our new stop/viewing location will be at the actual dam site located in the Warragamba village. It's a nice location if you've never seen the actual dam structure - but the view is not nearly as scenic at Nattai (in my opinion).
Also, we will be taking Chain-O-Ponds road, off the Northern Road into Wallacia - our first scheduled stop. It's a rather good, scenic and semi-twisty road.
Regards

| I was thinking of coming with you Ed, but the weather will not be nice I don't think.
I am off on 28 June, other than that I am free.

| Latest update: Sundays weather forecast predicts rain at this stage, (95% chance). If the ride requires cancelling, HRCA will cancel it at the meeting place at McGraths Hill. The safety of all involved is paramount.
Subject to weather, I'll probably ride out to McGraths Hill, and if it's cancelled have brekky there and a chat etc.

| Hi Ed,
I was thinking of coming subject to the weather, but then it was raining so bad in the morning. So I decided to stay home playing with my daughter so my wife can go shopping.
When she came back it was sunny...... so I decided to go for a spin, that's why I called you and planned to meet you in Pie In The Sky.
I left about 11am, got the Horsby, and started raining...... I stopped and looked at the they sky in the north from Hornsby and it didn't look very friendly,,,,,,, so I turned back.
I really wanted to catch up with everyone, but the weather is just not nice......... hgrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......!!!!!
Oh well, we can plan for a ride soon.
I have something on Sunday 28, but 4 July I am free.
Shall we plan for a ride with all the Vulcans and friends...?
Talk soon. | |

| There was a healthy sized group at Maccas but when mark Thompson from HRCA called the ride off, most left. There were about 7 NSW Riders left chatting when we decided it was fine enough to at least do Wisemans Ferry and the Putty linking with the OPH and Pie in The sky. Turned out that we had lunch at the reopened Warriors cafe location. Weather was fine all day. Rained slightly during lunch and a bit from Hornsby on the way home. Nothing serious. Came across a wierd motorcycle/car. Pic below. Has a glove box, wipers, GPS, reversing camera. A 125 cc thing. There was a whole group of scooters there. Older group of riders. Power to them for getting out. Pics can be seen @ http://picasaweb.google.com.au/Fasteddie57/NSWRRideOnPuttyRoadOPH# | |

Talk soon. So you are suggesting Saturday 4th July Harry. Suits me atm. Weather permitting, what about Mt Victoria. Otherwise Wollombi, Oberon. Thought about heading North to catch up with Pirtek888, but he can't make that weekend. Your thoughts ?

| That is a weird looking thing, 125cc would be very slow I think also. Looks like something from Asia.... | |
