Power commander and air kit Empty
PostSubject: Power commander and air kit   Power commander and air kit EmptySat Jul 11, 2009 2:17 am

Hey,
I just ordered both from the US.
Does anyone know how to install them?
Should be able to work out the air kit but have no idea around the power commander Shocked
Maybe its better to have it fitted, that way the mapping would be correct????

Any ideas appreciated

Hey Stew,

My advice on the pc111 is to find an authorised installer and dyno shop ( Woodies Motorcycles Tuggerah for exmple ) If they install it and anything goes wrong with the bike or pc111 they are liable. It is very easy to set the wrong maps for your bike if your only using generic ones, get it on the dyno and you will be amazed at the difference. I would see if your shop will dyno it for you before the air kit then with it then with the pc111 and a custom map that way you can see real differences

Good advice thanks AJ.
This will complete the kit now with pipes air and PC.
Will be interesting to see what if any difference it makes.

I'm tipping a huge difference to stock everything. Only thing i would do to top off your setup is the
scootworks front pulley. They say it reduces revs by 5 - 6 hundred rpm at 120km/h
