USA gets this

PARTS KIT TO REDUCE 2009
VULCAN®️ 1700 ENGINE HEAT
AVAILABLE MID-JANUARY
In surveys conducted with owners of 2009
Vulcan®️ VN1700 models, it came to our
attention that some customers may experience
uncomfortable levels of engine heat on the right
side of the motorcycle.
Well, we have great news! A parts kit will be
made available in mid-January for 2009 models
you have in your inventory (2010 models already
have the new shielding installed). Additionally,
Kawasaki will contact current owners to let them
know that they can have this kit installed by their
Kawasaki dealer.
Part kits will be supplied at no cost and
Dealers will be reimbursed for installation of
the kits at their standard labor rate.
Watch your mail for a bulletin in early January
with complete instructions for parts kit ordering
and claiming labor rate reimbursement.
KAWASAKI MOTORS CORP., U.S.A.

Australia gets

Kawasaki Motors Pty. Ltd (Australia) has been contacted by only a few customers and/or authorised dealers in regards to any operator discomfort due to heat, from the 2009 range of our Vulcan 1700 models. Regardless of this low number of contacts however, we have subsequently been involved in correspondence with head office in Japan in regard to this matter and currently there are on-going discussions as to how this might be handled in our local market. (The action taken so far in the U.S market is not universal for all markets, as each market handles these matters separately, after consultation/discussion with head office.)

Kawasaki Motors Pty. Ltd (Australia) is keenly aware of the importance of consumer satisfaction and will of course remain in contact with our head office to try and achieve the best solution possible for our market.

So,

You're not going to follow Stew, are you.....?

Having a bike is like a religion, converting considered as a sin.

It would upset others and end up buying the same ones.
