if i was to remove this from my system would anyone notice i doesnt say anything on the rego papers. if i was pulled over who would have the knowledge to realise that it was missing. any thoughts on why only the 1998 nomad seems to be the onlybike to have 1.

Most late model bikes have 1 just not noticable. If ya geta bike cop or epa then they will know, poss defect notice then you just refit get cleared then off again, same as loud pipes. any modification to the genuine exhaust system is illegal so you do so at your own risk.

Roddy, for your rego inspection i wouldnt worry too much they care about lights, tyres and oil leaks. Only dramas you may have in the future is with the Epa, Rta and maybe the fuzzz
