Saturday 27th February 2010 Ride to Sofala

NSW Riders are doing a full day ride to Sofala this coming Saturday. You are welcome to join us.

Meeting Point: Mcdonalds McGraths Hill
Meet time: 8:00
Depart time: 8:30
Duration: Day ride
Distance: Approximately 430 km return to Windsor

Route:

Begin at Mcdonalds McGraths Hill. Up Bells Line of Road turning left at the Darling Causeway then on to Mt Victoria. Turn right at Great Western Highway then at Jenolan Caves Rd turn left. Onward to Duckmaloi Rd, turn right to Oberon. From Oberon (first posible location for lunch) go via O'Connels Road to Bathurst (second possible choice of location for lunch ie the Kelso Hotel), then on to Peel Road to Sofala. Sofala Road to Castlereagh Highway, turn right follow road to Lithgow, Bells Lline of Road, Windsor, home.

Hope you can Stew, we will probably have lunch at the Kelso Hotel Bathurst and then venture on to Sofala. Weather looks good and it should be a great ride. My bike has had it's service and it feels great.

Mine needs a service and running like crap. And the wife wants to go baby shopping so guess wont be making this one

The ride was a great one, however I turned back at Bathurst as I had PM commitments. We had about 30 bikes.

Yeah we have 6 weeks to go now.
Only 14 years in between hahaha.
