Sunday 6th June Jenolan Caves CANCELLED

This ride is cancelled and is to be replaced with a ride to the Hunter valley on the 13th June.

Date - Sunday 6th June 2010
Meeting Point - McDonalds McGraths Hill
Meeting time - 8:30
Departure Time - 9:00

After our 9:00 start at McGraths Hill we will follow the Bells Line of Road, continuing on to Lithgow where we visit Hassans Walls, a splendid lookout to match those we saw on the South Coast ride.

From Lithgow, we head to Oberon for lunch at the Royal Hotel and then to Jenolan Caves where we may stop for coffee and could actually browse the area instead of just heading off after a picture being taken.

Return probably via Bells Line again or at your own choice.

Please have a full tank of fuel when you arrive at the start point.

There is no bad weather, just bad gear.

Just last week I picked up a new safety vest from the city disposal store for rides. It is zipped and it has blue woollen fleece on the inside and is reversible. so I can be seen as I ride there, reverse it and stay warm when I get there without looking a goose wearing a yellow vest over lunch.

Sounds another great ride, but once again I am working ....... night shift both 5 & 6 June.
However, all is not lost. The boys from work are planning an overnighter to Nundle pub on the 8/9 June when we are rostered off

Hi guys, I am usually good with my commitments, but I can't make the 6th.

The ride should go ahead, but if there is any chance of moving it back to 30th May, it will be much warmer (sounds good anyway). It would also suit a few members who can't make the 6th.

I can't make the 6th as I will be on a NSWR ride to Pelican Wharf at The Entrance. Been looking forward to returning there for a while now.

Actually 30th suits me better also.

I will be working the 30th but can wait for the next run. Alternatively push it back a week to 13th. Not sure if Roddy will be on the road by 6th anyway. am pretty flexible other than the 30th unfortunately.

you can prob count me out for a few weeks guys we are having trouble getting hold of the guy in the USA for the metal gear for the oil pump while the shop is pushing to start the work but im not paying $2000 when i can pay $1100 with the USA part. so we in stalemate at the moment im just hoping this guy calls back sooon.
