Sunday 29th January 2012 Sutton Forest

Ok, it's time to wash all those Vulcans (or Ninjas) and do what we should be doing - Ride.

This Sunday, subject to weather, thought we could have lunch at either Sutton Forest or the Robertson Hotel.

If the weather looks doubtful, please check this thread at 7:30 Sunday morning.

Date: Sunday 29th January 2012
Meeting Place: Heathcote McDonalds
Meeting Time: 9:00
Departure Time: 9:30

Route: Instead of the usual Stanwell Tops route, thought we could travel via the Princes Highway to Bulli Tops where we could have coffee at the Panaramic lookout. Great view from there (see pic below) then on to Albion Park where we will refuel at the BP Service Station. From Albion Park, travel via Macquarie Pass to Robertson Pie shop for a regroup. Group decision on whether we go to Sutton Forest or the Robertson Hotel. Could return either via Mittagong or Princes Highway.

Everyone is welcome. Lets make 2012 a great riding year. Please post up if you will attend.

Forecast is:

Sydney area Partly cloudy. The chance of showers. Winds north to northeasterly averaging up to 20 km/h.

If you wanted to make an early call and cancel due to the forecast, I'm also ok to cancel the ride due to the weather and lack of interest. Another thought is to take a ride on up OPH for coffee and for you to check out the mods I've made. Let us know.

Early on in the day we will make a call. I really hope the sun decides to pay us a visit.
Very much looking forward to seeing your shiny rear pulley. I still haven't ordered mine.
I have a small pile of things I want to order and keep putting it off. Something about house repayments.
In the meantime I have the cobra swepts exhaust and you can see how they sound - including the occasional pop I havent been able to stop.

Would have loved to join u guys, but the riding gods havent been shining all that much this year due to family and health issues!
If u do head up to PITS or Jerry's post up in the morning and if im up to it i will ride/drive out for a coffee

Was a great ride. Weather was perfect.

Great day & weather. Rudi joined us as far as Bulli Tops. Owie from NSWR, Mick & Cristina along with Verna & Hayley (is that right Verna) also came along. Went Old Princes Highway and visited Sublime Sublime Point Lookout and the visitor centre at Bulli Tops.

Straight down to Albion Park, where we fueled up at the Shell prior to reaching Albion Park. Then took Mac Pass to the Pie shop and then Robertson Inn for lunch. Returned via Bowral.

At Robertson, came across an old Ural motorcycle. Very nice. Took some pics.
