Bike for sale

I am selling my bike to upgrade. It's a 1996 Vulcan1500 grey and white. Driving lights and rack. Will include saddle bags ,gearsack and additional pillion backrest for extra long trip comfort. Has a hot sounding Cobra exhaust. 85k highway Kim's. Always garaged and covered. Regular service by Kwaka dealer with genuine parts only. Only use valvoline durablend oils. Has never failed to start and has never broken down Many years of riding left. Never dropped. 2nd owner and been in family since 20k 's.

Also selling Debs 250 Virago as we want to do some serious traveling

Anyway will see what happens. To be honest it will be hard to let the 1500 go.

Well I am glad to see you are not dropping back in size haha.
All sound like great bikes. have never riden a victory though, would like to one day.

Haven't sold yet. No one interested. Roddy did you trade in. Was only offered around 4k for trade on mine which does not help . May have save a few more months. Anyway congrats on the new bike. Can't wait to see it.

I sold mine on bike sales reasonably quickly and good price.
A guy came over and sold it that night. They offered me nothing for a trade I thought it was offensive actually

Yes I think that could be go and you are right. Regardless what the market tells you I know my bike is worth far more. Anyway for the moment I will keep it at least for a while. (Deborah has earmarked the spare cash for a new kitchen which is fine )

dave i traded mine and got 5k which i was happy with considering it was what i needed for the exchange

the guys at hills motorcycles were awsome to deal with .

Hi Dave. I'm riding a Ninja 1000. Very happy with it, does everything really pretty well.
Rode it to Ligthning ridge with Ed, no problem at all. Comfortable reasonable on the juice (depending how you ride it).
Considered many bike but settled on this as its a good all rounder. I commute as well and a bigger cruiser is just to hard to get through traffic.
That extra power is also fun, plus it handles like its on rails

Glad to see you stuck with a Kwaka Stew. Quite a change in pace going to a sports bike. I have seen the Ninja and I like it a lot. I've wonderd how those 1400 GTR's would go. Did you look at one of thoes

Roddy I like the look of the bike on the avatar. Is that it. How does it go. I am riding up to Kempsey this Saturday 16th if you wanted to come part or all way. Leaving pretty early rain depending.

yer thats it .would love to come on sat but its my weekend to work and ive still got 650ks to go on running it.

the next 2 weekends weather permitting is dedicated to racking up the ks and getting that first service done then im up for most rides

no worries mate. the bike looks great. nothing like a new machine you lucky bugger.

Hi Dave, I didn't as it was just too big for my purposes.
There have been a lot on the far rides I have been on recently though they seem pretty popular.
Stuck with Kwaka as the 1000 seemed like the best bike around. If we catch up for a ride you should take it for a spin
I am sure you will be impressed it has nice strong engine which makes for plenty of fun.

NSWR are doing a ride to Toukley hotel this Sunday if anyone is keen. I am thinking about it as weather looks like it will be good.
