| I was talking to my friend a couple of weeks ago after our wet ride. He has been into bikes for ages and used to race them. I told him that I felt unstable in the corners on the cruiser in the wet, felt like the rear type was slipping.
He said the compund of a cruiser type tyre is made for durability, it is not designed to give any real superior gripping ability in wet, slippery conditions.
Just thought Id share his insights with you guys.

| Hi Dark Knight,
That's good to know, thanks.
Don't buy a sports bike though......! Just don't ride in the rain. If you do, just be more extra creful.
But, I just bought myself a water proof jacket the other day after getting too wet from last time. Ha ha ha ha..... what should I do....?
I went for a ride with Ed and about 35 other bikers and it was soooooo much fun.
See you soon,

Kruser Don't ride in the rain? You need to harden up boy a real rider rides in all conditions. Get a set of Mettzlers onya bike that'll givya better grip and they last longer too!!! Aj

MAte can't wait to join you guys on a run. Little bit hard for me at times for 2 reasons 1 - 5 children including twins that are only 4 months old 2 - I live on the central coast so i have to allow extra time in my day to get to Syd and back as well as the ride. Once the twins settle down a bit i'll be there with bells on Aj
