| the 2nd annual BMWTC of NSW FAR Cairn Rally held at the show grounds Tottenham NSW. Last years was well attended not only by BMWTC members but also supported by the Farriders. All proceeds of the rally do go to a worth while cause for injured motorcyclists. Not only that its an interesting place to visit as its the geographical centre of NSW http://www.bmwtcnsw.org/pdfFiles/FAR%20CAIRN%20RALLY%202009%20ENTRY.pdfAj | |

| Ok guys is anybody going to go to this rally? I am seriously thinking of doing this rally as a far ride (1000km in 24hrs) This is East Far Ride No. 11 So who is game to try and do this with me? We would need to leave Sydney/CentralCoast between 12.30 and 1pm Friday 18th and arrive in Tottenham around 12 midday Saturday 19th The times are set by fariders.com.au

I think you have misread this one Harry. The ride is to Tottenham NSW which is about 500 klm west of Sydney. Idea is to take the "long way" there so that you do a total of 1000k by the time you get there. FarRiders gives you 24hrs to get there. So, for example, you ride say 600 or 700K on the first day, stay overnight somewhere then do the final 300k or so the following morning. | |

| Hi guys. I have booked in to do the far ride No. 11. I am going to do it slightly different. I will leave Agnes Banks Friday 12midday and go to Goulburn, Oberon, Lithgow and back to Agnes Banks, all up just on 500ks. Next day early start and off to Tottenham via Narromine making it about 525ks and should be there before 12 noon, having done my 1000ks within 24 hrs. Then staying Saturday night for rally and rest. If anyone would like to come along, let me know. | |

| Keep checking the Far Riders site re this one. The founder of Far Riders Australia, David "Davo" Jones died today as a result of critical injuries sustained when competing in the Iron Butt Ride in the USA. Davo was only a short distance from the finish line when he encountered a wild deer on the highgway. He suffered major head injuries as a result of the impact and died several hours later in hospital. The Far Riders site has all the details. | |
