After leaving PITS (AKA Pie in the Sky 1296 Old Pacific Highway Cowan) we will travel via the Old Pacific Highway until we meet Peats Ridge Road. We turn left there and travel beneath the freeway and follow Peats Ridge Road to Peats Ridge, Central Mangrove, Kulnurra and then to Mangrove Creek Dam.

I expect police presence on the OPH, so be warned. It's not a long way we have to travel to Mangrove Creek Dam, so just enjoy the journey and the sound of the bikes. Unless someone else wants to lead, I'm happy to do it. We will designate a tail end charlie at PITS and they may wear a red vest that I will bring. If you are corner marking, wait till
you see the TEC before proceeding. There are not a lot of corners so stay together but keep the distances reasonable.

Route is as follows. Return route to be decided at lunch.

Bikes washed & shoppings done . If ppl think we need more drinks, we can get at PITS or a servo.

Verna, your new seat will be the same as mine, but you have the studs etc. We will try my seat on yours or we can swap bikes if the sissy bar is a problem, just to give you an idea of what comfort you can expect.

ive got some steaks to bring as well and ill stop at coles on way to grab a few more bottles of drink just to be sure

It sounds like we have plenty of food and drink though so it all looks covered.

As for the seat Ed I would love to try and put it on my bike to see if it fits with the sissy bar.
I have a suspicion that the mounts might be ok but the actual sissy bar and pad might be too short.

I have my brother Rex coming as my Pillion and one more friend on her own bike.

not sure about anyone else but kath and i really enjoyed the ride today and i hope everyone else did too .
