Greetings Ed and others
I am still trying to sort out the route I am taking Ed, but will keep you informed .
At present I think I will be not stopping at Pheasants nest for fuel and as I said you guys will probably catch me on the highway anyway.
May even proceed a little further on the freeway and cut back up to Euston.

Applications to join are now closed with 137 riders/pillions heading to Euston.

Latest addition to the VN are a set of heated grips. Not cheap at $110 plus just as much again to install them, but hey, gotta be warm.

Got home about 11:40 mon night. Did all I set out to do, but not to the timetable I planned. Stories and pics later.

With the last of the riders completing their finishers form, FarRide East #16 is now complete and the books closed.

A total of 104 riders and 4 pillions successfully completed the FarRide, making it a record number of finishers with 44 shiny new numbers being added to the ever-growing FarRider List.

A collective 121,256km of trouble-free riding.

Congratulations to all those who made it.

Hope to see as as many as possible on the next East FarRide to Eungella QLD on 1 October 2011.
