I will be joining the Quad Squad ride from Nobbys Beach at Newcastle. If anyone wants to join me, I will depart from the 7/11 at Berowra at 6:30 am.

In case you are not familiar, the Quad squad was a group of three close friends that have travelled for 12 months, visiting 38 countries over 3 continents. Sadly, a group member, Valerio Daniel De Simoni, was involved in a vehicle accident during the journey and passed away. The group decided to carry on, in honor of their close friend.

The “Quad Squad” arrives in Sydney this Saturday, 22 October. They 'require' an escort into Sydney. This is looking to be the ride of the year with over 1,000 expected to escort the Quad Squad into Sydney Town.

Please mark this special occasion by riding with the group from one of the following meet points. The group will not be stopping at these pick up points. You are asked to join the group at the rear of the ride.

Start Point - Nobbys Beach car park at Newcastle. 8:00 am for an 8:45 am departure

Pick up Point 1 - Twin Service Station off the F3 at 10:00 am

Pick up Point 2 - Old Pacific Highway Gosford, cnr Quarry Rd (The Slab) at 10:30

Pick up Point 3 - Road Warriors Cafe Mt White at 10:50

Pick up Point 4 - Old Berowra Toll Gates at 11:15

Destination: Overseas Passenger Terminal.

I have seen this doco and was pretty moved by the whole story. The least I could do would be to join in. I will see you at 6:30 Ed.

Good effort Stew, see you at Berowra (now a 7/11 store, not a Mobil) @ 6:30.

Well I am very glad on went on this ride. Top day and a huge turn out complete with police escort over the bridge.
I really felt for Vals mum who gave a nice speech at the end. I can not imagine how difficult it would be to lose a child. It was great to see so many turn out to escort them home.
Ed cant wait to see your pics!!
